Exterior paints

Exterior coatings face rain, sun and algae, so the product should suit the climate and the wall type. Weatherproof paints protect plastered surfaces, textured paints hide uneven walls, cement paints suit rough masonry and boundary walls, and exterior primers seal alkaline plaster. Give the area, surface condition, existing coating and expected exposure, coastal or inland, along with the shade code. Dry surfaces matter for application.
