Sealants

A joint closed with the wrong compound fails early. Silicone suits bathroom and glass joints, thread seal tape made of PTFE suits threaded pipe connections, pipe jointing compound is applied on metal threads, and epoxy sealants suit rigid repairs. Give the substrate, wet or dry conditions, temperature, and whether contact with drinking water is involved. Cartridge size, colour and tape width are also useful details for a quotation.
