Cutting & grinding

Abrasive discs and wheels must match the machine, so quote the diameter, thickness, bore size and the maximum rated speed of the grinder, and say whether the work is mild steel, stainless steel, masonry or a weld to be dressed. Cutting discs and grinding wheels are not interchangeable in use. For manual cutting, hacksaws are specified by frame type and teeth per inch, and tin snips by cut direction, straight, left or right, and blade length.
