Glazing hardware

Hardware is what actually holds the glass, so it should be rated for the panel weight and thickness. Glass clamps, patch fittings, spider fittings and channel profiles suit different fixing methods: point-fixed façades, frameless doors or channel-set panels. Specify glass thickness and panel weight, finish such as stainless steel, fixed or adjustable type, hole size and load conditions. Structural fixings should be checked by a qualified engineer.
