Label printers

What gets labelled, and how long the label must last, decides the printer. Thermal transfer printers use a ribbon for durable labels, while direct thermal printers need no ribbon but fade over time. Give the print width, resolution, connection type and label roll dimensions: width, length, core size and material. Label design software should be checked against the printer and operating system, and volumes help match the right machine.
